Yesterday we finally left the West Bay anchorage, we motor sailed to Palm Cay to stay at a marina for the night. It was nice to take a little break from the boat after a week of storms. We did reprovision and charge the boat batteries up.
Today we set sail for the Exhumas, and we did sail the entire day, no motor finally, it was a perfect sail about 10 to 15 mph winds on the beam. The boat ran up to max speed a few times. Once we arrived , we se anchor, dropped the dinghy and ran to see Allen Cay- that is where all of the lizards are, they come up and beg for food. Not sure how many days we will be here, there is another weak cold front blowing in tonight, the winds will pick up for a day or 2. We are in a protected spot from the forecasted winds.
Nice to see you are still alive! Wishing you both a Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you as well. I have been slacking on the blog post, the weather sometimes keeps us stuck.
