Today we were picking up anchor at 7:15 with a plan to get to Highborne Cay before darkness, we were moving along pretty well when we noticed 2 other boats that were doing the same route turned around. That made us start to question ourselves.. Should we turn around also? Is it that bad? Well the winds were strong and the seas were a little stiff, we probably would have been fine, but our current track would have put us at anchor at dark. So we turned around also, tomorrow’s forecast is pretty much the same, but i think if change our route we should be ok. We will be watching the weather the rest of the day, if we can not make it then possibly Monday for a different window.
