This blue hole, located in the southern Berry Islands, is about 600 feet wide and has a cliff that hangs 20 feet above the water. Those who jump into it from the cliff speak of an adrenaline rush as they venture into its mysterious depths. Its only living inhabitants are said to be oysters.
Today we explored some more, we went to Hoffmans Cay, visited the Blue Hole, the picture below is of Barb jumping off the cliff, it took a little to overcome the fear of jumping into an abyss, but it was all worth it. I also jumped of course, but growing up jumping in the bluey, this was a walk in the park. We ran the dingy about 3 miles from where we were anchored, passing a number of small cays to get there.
I also tried spear fishing today, I seen a lot of reef fish that were easy targets however, they would not be good eating, my plan was to get a lobster, but no luck- so peanut butter and fluff tortillas it is. I really need to get better at this, or we might starve….
Seahab sitting on anchor in Little Harbor Cay, the drone may have crashed 1 too many times, the pictures are not coming out great,,
