Today we made a 32 mile journey to Little Harbor Cay, we had to abort mission on the Devils Cay cut, due to high seas, we did not feel comfortable bringing the boat in with big swell and a narrow channel. The rocks on the sides of the cuts had huge waves breaking on them. We are only 3.4 miles by dinghy from the island we wanted to see, so tomorrow we explore. Today was the first time ever I dove on the anchor, doesn’t look great but i put down max rpms when i backed down on it and it held. We also checked out a little beach rite behind us,
We have to get use to the shallow waters in the Bahamas, in the above pic we have about 2.5 feet under the keel with a dropping tide, Most likely will have around a foot once we hit low tide.
