Today was a higher mileage day, we started off in Portsmouth and began our journey down the ICW, where we went under 14 bridges, some of which they had to open for us, and also went through our first lock. The ICW is a narrow channel about 12 feet deep, step out of the channel and you go aground. Luckily so far we did not do that. The trip today was 57 miles, all on the motor. we ended up about 7 miles south of Coinjock, NC in a nice little anchorage.
