Day 43 and 44- Anchored at Cumberland Island

The last 2 days we decided to stay anchored, the winds have been gusting to 40mph at times due to the front that came through on Tuesday night. We went for hike yesterday along the main trail on the island, then came back and made sure the boat was ok. We are getting tossed around pretty good, since there is no real protection around here. That is part of it though, not every day is going to perfect. We do plan on sailing to the south of the island tomorrow, then on Sunday we are planning on going to Fernandino Beach FL. I had a new water pump redelivered to a Amazon locker there , so we can finally fix the leak. A couple more weeks until we are staging for the Big crossing to the Bahamas, that will give us a little time to fix some things and make sure all systems are good to go.
