Day 27 – We only had a short hop to get to an anchorage to spend the day before an even shorter hop to Charleston. SC. Our trip today was 27 miles, we anchored in a small creek called Inlet creek, the current was super strong and the tides fluctuated around 6 feet. I spent the day trying to secure another AIS unit for the boat and also testing our brand new Epirb- which failed.
Day 28- Only 9 miles to get to Charleston- we sailed all the way up the harbor, which was nice after weeks of motoring. We are going to stay at a marina for 3 days to be tourist and check the town out.
We are at Safe Harbor Charleston City, it is very nice, I had to run to West Marine to get some boat parts and also got ahold of the company that makes the epirb. We have traveled over 700 miles already, unfortunately the time is going too fast, hopefully it slows down once in the Bahamas. I will continue to try and get better at making videos, Hopefully they get better.
