Day 109- Warderick wells

The last few days we went from anchoring on both sides of Big Majors Cay to sailing back North to Warderick Wells. On Saturday 1-6-23 we had a slow but enjoyable downwind sail from Big Majors to the headquarters of the Exuma Land and Sea Park in Waderick Wells. the water here is perfect, there are several hiking trails and lots of great snorkeling. One of the hikes go up to a trail called Boo Boo Hill, where cruisers find scrap wood and add their name to it and place it on a pile at the top of a hill. The mound of wood is huge, years of signs, of course we added ours to it. It was the first time using the year 2024 on something, it kind of felt weird. Where did 2023 go so fast.

Tomorrow we are heading back to Staniel Cay for another weather front coming in, hopefully only staying for 2 days before we move again. It is nice having a central location that we bounce back and forth from, we are getting to know the anchorage and all the spots that give good protection from certain winds. by the end of the week we plan on being in Black Point settlement for more exploring.
