Day 106- Chores and a succesful hunt

We started off the day doing chores, did some laundry at the Liquormat and got some groceries. The Liquormat was great , sat at a bar had a few beers while the laundry was washing. Never thought laundry could be so much fun. We met some great people while we were there also. Once back at the boat, it was nap time,, i am not use to drinking that much before noon in the heat with only a pop-tart to eat. After my afternoon nap, i felt like going fishing, so i brought a rod and a spear and drifted with the current hanging my head overboard of the dinghy. Finally i got us some dinner, we are not going to starve after all.

This was my first Lobster caught with the pole spear. It was pretty wild seeing its large antennas sticking out from under a rock. Once i seen them i had to dive down and try to get him, he went back under the rock and after about 5 missed shots, he made the mistake of showing himself a little more, so i pulled back the slingshot on the pole and released, a perfect shot. I got him to the dinghy and raced back to the boat to show Barb. After some pictures, we had to fire up the Starlink and you tubed how to clean a lobster, it was not too hard. Then i had to you tube how to cook one. We ended up grilling him with a garlic butter mix. Turned out delicious. So i am going to say this was a successful day. we ate good a good dinner had a great liquid lunch with some great people and had some rest and relaxation today.
