Day 70- Shark Creek- Great Harbor Cay

Today we took the dinghy for a 5 mile ride to Shark creek, it is a narrow cut between island that goes from the Bahamas bank to the atlantic ocean. It was a shallow passage where we seen a shark, turtle and ray. I decided to go for a quick snorkel and seen a few fish. We ran into a local who said on the other side there were plenty of lobster hiding in the rock, unfortunately i did not have my spear gun with us, so now we will starve. He also gave us a good spot for snorkeling a little further off the coast. It was a good adventure, i did create a short video of it, hopefully it will show on the website as episode 2.

  1. I totally forgot I have an awesome waterproof phone case designed for scuba. I’ll bring it when I see you.
    Save some adventuring for us!

    1. Sounds great, we did not even get to the best stuff yet, there is plenty of adventuring to go, can not wait for the Exuma’s. Waiting on weather now to continue down the Berries.
