Today we filled our fuel tank with the remaining diesal fuel on deck and ran to the only place to fuel on the northern part of the island chain to refill. After we went and snorkeled on a old plane wreck( the pictures did not come out good) and then found a nice beach to walk around on.
The above picture is of the small man made cut into the great harbor inner harbor, there is 1 marina in that area and the fuel depot. To the North of where we are anchored is an island owned by the cruise industry , where people get off the large cruise ships and jet ski and other things. We are not allowed there. We plan on staying another day here to look for a small creek that cuts through the mangroves about 2.5 miles. That will take us from The Bahama banks side to the ocean. After that we will look for a weather window to explore more of the different islands of the Berries. We hear they get better the further south we go.
